1. General Disclaimers
Use of the What the Putt website (this website) is at your own risk. What the Putt (“we”, “us”, “our”) is not responsible for any loss, damage, mistake or omission arising from your use of this website.
Links to external sites do not imply endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content.
Although reasonable care is taken to ensure this site is virus-free, we accept no liability for any viruses affecting material you download.
Prices and availability may change without notice. In the event of inconsistency, promotional material displayed at our venues prevails.
2. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All content and materials on this website are the property of What the Putt.
You may not copy, reproduce or use any part for commercial purposes without our written consent.
You may copy or print material for personal use and link to our homepage with prior consent.

4. Online Booking Terms & House Rules
Arrival and Play
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation.
- Late arrivals may result in shortened play time.
- If technical issues delay your start, your total play time will not be reduced.
- Valid ID (18+) may be requested.
- What the Putt complies with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). We may refuse service or entry to any guest showing signs of intoxication or disorderly behaviour.
- Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted; however, management decisions under RSA laws are final.
- No refunds will be given for change of mind.
- Booking changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Additional costs may apply.
- A credit-card or cash deposit may be required before play. Deposits are refunded upon safe return of What the Putt property.
- Guests are responsible for damage caused to venue property.
5. Minors
- Persons under 18 years are considered minors.
- Minors must be accompanied by a Responsible Adult (parent, guardian, grandparent, or person acting in place of a parent).
- The Responsible Adult is bound by these Terms and must supervise minors at all times.
- It is illegal to supply alcohol to, or permit the consumption of alcohol by, minors on licensed premises.
- All minors must leave the venue by 8 PM, regardless of booking type or event.
6. Gameplay Rules
- Only one player per hole at a time.
- Courses must be played sequentially.
- Only What the Putt-supplied equipment may be used.
- Report any equipment faults immediately to staff—do not attempt repairs.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests for unsafe, disruptive, or intoxicated behaviour.
- We accept no responsibility for personal property brought onto the premises.
7. Promotional Offers
- Promotions are not valid on public holidays or with other offers.
- Unlimited-play offers are subject to our Fair Play Policy.
- The manager on duty may reallocate activities as needed.
- Leaving the venue ends your promotion automatically, even if play time remains.
8. Fair Play Policy
Ensures fair use of all activities:
- Golf – 18 holes guaranteed, then subject to availability.
- The manager may rotate guests to maintain fairness.
- Not all activities are included in every promotion—please check before purchase.
9. Risk Warning and Waiver
Participation in What the Putt recreational activities (including mini golf, table tennis, or related games) involves inherent risks of injury or death.
You acknowledge these risks and participate voluntarily.
You release and indemnify What the Putt, its employees, and agents from liability except where caused by gross negligence as defined under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic).
You must follow staff instructions at all times; failure to do so may result in suspension or removal without refund.
10. Medical and Safety
- Participation involves physical exertion and may aggravate health conditions.
- Guests must not participate if excessively intoxicated, under the influence of illegal drugs, or unfit for safe play.
- You authorise What the Putt to take reasonable steps (including first aid or ambulance transport) to protect your welfare in an emergency.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Privacy and Marketing Consent
Collection and Use of Personal Information
By making a booking, visiting our venues, or engaging with What the Putt online, you consent to us collecting your personal information (e.g. name, email, phone number) for:
- Managing your booking and transactions,
- Providing receipts and service updates,
- Improving customer experience, and
- Sending marketing and promotional communications (including via email, SMS, and digital media) about What the Putt venues, events, and offers.
Marketing Preferences
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
- Clicking “unsubscribe” in our emails,
- Replying “STOP” to SMS messages, or
- Contacting info@whattheputt.
com.au.
Third-Party Services
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Information may be shared with trusted service providers solely to deliver our services and communications. All partners comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
